What is Microsoft 365?

Microsoft 365 combines the familiar Microsoft Office desktop suite with cloud based versions of Microsoft’s collaboration services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive for Business to help users be productive virtually anywhere through the Internet.

Many Microsoft 365 plans also include the desktop version of the latest Office applications, which users can install across multiple computers and devices. The fully installed applications include:

  • PowerPoint

  • Outlook
  • Publisher (Available on PC only)
  • Access (Available on PC only)

You can install these programs across multiple devices, including PCs, Macs, Android and Apple devices. When you have an active Office 365 subscription that includes the desktop version of Office, you always have the most up-to-date version of the applications.
